Myrtle’s human components are discarded porcelain doll parts from the grounds of old pre-WW2 doll factories. There are slight surface blemishes as a result. This may be why her parts were disposed of so many years ago. Myrtle’s eyes are antique glass doll eyes. The rest of this sea creature’s surface is covered in glass beads, coral, shell, and glass stones using a mosaic process. Myrtle is a hopeful creature. There is a hole on the back of her head for wall-hanging.
